What to Expect

Every therapeutic journey is unique - here is some detail on what you can expect when we begin working together. I am happy to answer any further questions you may have beforehand.

Therapeutic Space

My style of therapy is warm, intuitive and collaborative. I trust my clients are the experts in themselves and their lives. At the core of the work is a caring exploration into your personal core values and how you think and feel towards yourself. 

 

My approach: As a relational therapist, I am particularly attuned to your relationship with yourself, people in your life and the world around you. My integrative therapeutic practice is grounded in psychodynamic and existential foundations. This means I wholly appreciate the way in which our past experiences can often stay hidden, only to resurface later in life in ways we least expect. 
 

Every therapeutic relationship is unique to the space we create together - it's my job to adapt my approach to fit your individual needs and preferences, providing an experience which is intuitively attuned to you.

 

Mind, body & breath: As someone with a personal interest in meditation and breathwork, I focus on somatics and the mind/body connection in my practice. With additional certification as a Breathwork Practitioner, I am always happy to incorporate breathwork tools into our sessions together.

​​​How does it work?

Seeing your life in full is an essential part of my role, considering the mind/body connection alongside your childhood, relationships and how you view the world.

Exploring our past helps us to find and understand the roots of our distresses today, helping us to work out how to heal, grow, and have a more fulfilling life. However, you might have current issues you also want to focus on - we will flow between your past, present and future based on what you need from the work. 

 

We will work together, human-to-human, building a space of trust and safety, and working collaboratively towards your therapy goals. We will look to find more self-awareness, clarity and understanding of who you are, how you relate to others, and how your experiences have shaped you into the person you are.

 

I will walk alongside you to find clarity and coping tools which help you to tackle life's challenges, feel more grounded, and understand your true identity with care.
